South Australia deserves better

What's the secret?

Posted on September 2, 2010

This arrogant, tired and out of touch Government have learnt nothing from the State election.

Immediately after the election, Premier Rann said they had heard the message and would be re-energising their dialogue with the people of South Australia.

“I am determined to ensure that we re-energise our dialogue with the people of South Australia and involve them more in what we are doing as a Government.”
(Press Release, 29/3/10)

But what do we get?

Minister Conlon refusing to tell the public what the latest cost estimate is for the Adelaide Oval project. It’s a secret!

“It’s hard to have a dialogue with the people if the Minister is not telling them anything,” Mr Evans said.

“Minister Conlon refuses to confirm or deny insiders’ claims that the blowout on the Adelaide Oval project is at least another $105 million.

“Minister Conlon refused to say what the latest cost estimate is for the Adelaide Oval project.

“As Treasurer Foley announced the Adelaide Oval project would cost $450 million before the election, why can’t Minister Conlon tell us the estimated cost now?”

What’s the secret?
