until South Australians can make the decision to put our state back on track.

Remembrance Day will not be observed in the State’s public hospitals this week.
Health SA has determined that a short broadcast informing patients about the minute of silence and perhaps reciting the ode could be “intrusive” and risk using incorrect protocol.
A Health Department email leaked to the Liberal Opposition states:
“It’s been agreed that (with the exception of The Repat) observance of Remembrance Day should not be broadcast over the hospital public address system. This decision has been taken because using the P.A. system has the potential to be very intrusive on patients and families…”
Opposition Leader Isobel Redmond said Labor’s decision not to observe Remembrance Day in public hospitals was a slap in the face to Australian service men and women.
“Remembrance Day is significant and should be recognised in all public institutions.
“Premier Weatherill must explain to South Australians why his Labor Government has decided it is not worth recognising this significant and solemn day in our hospitals.
“Most South Australians take the minute of silence very seriously and I am sure there are patients who would like to be notified when it begins.
“I will be encouraging all South Australians to pause and remember the sacrifice of our service men and women, many of whom have paid with their lives.
“We must never forget the dedication and sacrifice of these courageous Australians.”
